Design
In terms of the design of the realme C25s it is constructed and designed in the same manner as the realme C25, so it's the familiar plastic body with the Geometric Art Design at the back. . It's available in two colorways: watery grey and watery blue. I do prefer the watery blue since it's the color of my review unit.

realme C25s

At the back, there are three camera lenses enclosed along with an LED flash, a fingerprint reader that works quickly and efficiently to unlock the phone, and the realme logo on the phone's side strip.

realme C25s

The power button and volume rocker are located on the right side and have a pleasant clicky sensation when used. It works extremely well, so there are no complaints here. The SIM card slot is on the left side and accepts two 4G nano-SIM cards and one micro-SD card, which is convenient since I can connect to 4G mobile data using two separate telecoms.

realme C25s

If you want to experience 5G speed, the realme 8 5G is one of the most inexpensive 5G smartphones available today, priced at just ₱11,990.

realme C25s

The 3.5mm audio port, USB Type-C connector, and microphone are all placed towards the device's bottom. It's great to see Realme include the more advanced Type-C connector on its entry-level devices, enabling faster charging and data transfer.

Display
The realme C25s features a 6.5-inch display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 570nits, It has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and the bezels are noticeable but not bothersome. It also sports an 8-megapixel front camera on the notch.

realme C25S

The colors are excellent, and at a peak brightness of 570nits, it can still be used outside, but not in direct sunlight. Its 20:9 screen ratio makes it an excellent device for watching movies and playing games in landscape mode. One of the cool things I love about Android phones is colorful lock-screen wallpaper, and realme has a vast library of really nice wallpaper that you can see every time it's power on.

realme C25S

For display settings, it supports Eye Comfort, Auto-Brightness, and Dark mode. It also has Screen Color Temperature with choices for Cool, Default, or Warm.

MediaTek Helio G85
The primary difference between the realme C25 and the realme C25s is the chipset, which is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core CPU with up to 2.0GHz clock speed. This gaming CPU from Meditek features an Arm Mali-G52 GPU up to a 1GHz peak, blasting performance for mobile gamers. The octa-core CPU features two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating up to 1.8GHz, interlinked by a large L3 cache for improved performance.

realme C25S

On AnTuTu realme C25s scored 182703, while on GeekBench it scored 387 on Single-Core and 1336 on Muti-core.

realme C25S

In terms of day-to-day usage, the realme C25s has performed admirably as my primary phone for the last two weeks, with primary activities including browsing and updating social media, taking photos and videos, making business calls and sending a lot of SMS, watching my favorite TV shows, and playing my favorite games.

realme C25S

The realme UI is sleek and fast; it can easily manage to multitask and switching between apps is also fast. It's really impressive how well both the software and the hardware works on this device.

realme C25S

Installing apps is easy, comes with Google Play and App Market of realme which does not require an account, so if you don't have a Google account yet, you can still install apps/games from App Market.

realme C25S

This phone is excellent for gaming; it can handle all of the games I loaded, including Asphalt 9, Among Us, Realme Racing, Legacy, and my all-time favorite Call of Duty Mobile. Playing games is enjoyable, and I was able to spend more time playing, however, the speaker isn't very good, so I ended up using wireless headphones to fully enjoy the game.

The Game Space is a significant feature of realme C25s when playing games; it allows users to manage installed games and enhance the device's performance if necessary by utilizing the Pro Gamer mode. While playing games, it can also lock the brightness level, prevent notifications, and reject calls.

realme C25S

In terms of performance, the realme C25s is impressive; the chipset works well with the realme IU 2.0, and it can perform games and work-related activities without lag or latency.

Speaker
In terms of audio, the C25s sports a single bottom-firing speaker. When the volume is turned all the way up, it can get quite loud. The sound quality is good but not stereo; it is adequate for gaming but not very pleasant for listening to music; therefore, it is preferable to use wired or wireless earbuds.

Cameras
Just like the realme c25, the realme C25s also sports a triple AI camera with a 48-megapixel, f/1.8 main sensor, a 2-megapixel, f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel, f/2.4 mono lens, as well as an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

realme C25S

The cameras give other smartphones in the same price category a run for their money, and the main sensor alone is already a great bonus.

The camera app is simple and easy to operate, and changing shooting modes is quick and responsive. For shooting modes, it supports Beauty, Filter, HDR, Panoramic View, Portrait, Time-lapse, Slo-mo, NightScape, and Expert modes. It supports up to 1080p at 60fps video recording for the main camera and 1080p at 30fps for the front-facing camera.

Image quality is good, pictures taken during daylight with natural light is impressive with a lot of details and colors that are close to natural-looking. Pictures taken at night have a grainy look, but realme addresses this issue with its Nightscape setting, which makes images more bright and clear.

Battery Life
The C25s comes with a 6,000mAh massive battery that supports 18W quick charging through a Type-C connection, which gives it an advantage over other smartphone brands in its price range that still utilize the old micro-USB port.

realme C25S

Battery life is impressive, one full charge I was able to get almost 2 days of usage which includes updating social media accounts, watching videos on YouTube, catching up on favorite Korean TV shows on Netflix, playing a lot online of games, making some phone calls, SMS, and more gaming.

realme includes certain battery software to help manage battery power, such as App Quick Freeze, which reduces energy usage by closing infrequently used apps, and Screen Battery Optimization, which helps you to tone down some visual effects to save battery. It also has a Super Power Saving Mode, which allows you to put on the power-saving mode to achieve a longer battery life.

Pros
Solid Built
Large Display
Helio G85 Powerful Processor
Massive Battery / Long Battery Life
18W Quick Charge
Good Battery Management
Good Camera

Cons
Only HD+ Display
It's the same as realme C25

Conclusion

The realme C25s is a great value for money smartphone with a faster processor, more storage, an amazing triple camera, and a massive battery. It's a fantastic gadget for mobile gaming, school-related activities, and just about everything else.

The realme C25S is available in 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant that retails for ₱7,490, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant retails at ₱8,490.
